honestly the best thing is to just film any random stuff you can. just film like 20 minutes of stuff and try to make a short movie out of it.
also try to plan for maybe about 7 minutes, that way you can cut out stuff in post to make a really full 5 minutes.
it means just like doing everything makeshift and kinda figuring out things as you go. no real plan, just winging it
