New Short Film Distribution Guide

Scottish Screen, the government film agency in Scotland, has produced an in-depth guide to the distribution of short films. And the best news is that it can be downloaded for free.

Called “You’ve Got it Made “, this PDF guide contains a host of information about the current landscape in short film distribution, the leading companies, festivals, and marketing strategies. Although targeted predominantly at filmmakers in the UK, the advice is pretty universal and indeed, the most of the distribution companies manage shorts from both the UK and abroad.
