This IS THE MOST PRODUCTION ORIENTED FILM SCHOOL IN THE U.S.!! They don't make you spend years reading text books and sitting in lecture labs here. The 2nd week of the introduction to film course, students are sent out in the field to shoot their first film. SFA Film has been taught by filmmaker William Arscott for over 20 years and has men out of boys. Emphasising on script writing/development, audio and post audio, editing (linear and non-linear), lighting, rigging, composition and aesthetics of filmmaking as well as everything else the student needs to know in order to work as a professional in the film and video production industry. The school has an average 97% placement in the film and video production industry for its graduates.
