Sagar Film & TV Academy

"The Academy is founded by veteran filmmaker Dr Ramanand Sagar, who has made several successful feature films in Hindi including Ankhen, Arzoo, Geet, Charas, Lalkar, etc. and trend setting blockbusters on television like Ramayan, Krishna, Alif Laila, etc. The Academy plans to introduce courses in all disciplines of film and television production including Direction, Camera, Editing, Script Writing, Graphics & Animation etc. At present the Academy offers a 3-month full time course and a weekend 6-month course in Acting. The course includes Stanislaviski's System, Bharat Muni's Natya Shastra, Voice Culture, Diction (Medium of Instruction is Hindi), Swimming, Dance, Fights & Stunts, Horse riding, Film Orientation and Film Appreciation, etc. The Academy is located in the Sagar Film City,which is spread over 35 acres of land on the outskirts of Baroda. A showreel is made at the end of the course for every student and deserving students get their first break in the Sagar Group Productions. It is the only Academy which offers such an opportunity to act."

I have personally visited the Sagar Studio and observed their teams working effectively. I see great potential in developing talents at regional level.
