Here you'll learn everything of filmmaking aspect. Trust me, this is really worth of studying. Course that you will learn with the cheapest fees in the world. With USD 200 per semester you'll get 35 kredit hour. Let me tell you what have I learn - Screen Writing, Directing, Cinematography, Editing, Sound Designer, Production Design, Film Theory, History of Film, Production, Special Effect Make-Up, Make -Up, Psychology in Filmmaking, Acting, Graphic Animation, Law, Music for Film, etc. A lot of project every month, plus the environment is superb.

"I'm NOT a student in National Arts Academy (ASWARA) but I heard this school teaches you hands-on 'bout the film production. Being a government sponsored school, they have the privillage of getting a great amount of film equipment which many other film schools in Malaysia couldn't afford. They also get instant connection with the people in the industry. But the down-fall on this school is that they teaches the student in the Malay Language, so I think the school is only for the locals and if any international students want to study here, they have to learn the Malay Language first. I went to ASWARA quite a few times for Student Film Festivals and a few shows, I have to say that I don't really like the environment. All and all, if you're Malaysian and you want instant connection with the industry people, go ahead and enroll in ASWARA; the fees are cheap and wouldn't hurt to be 'nice' to the professors."
