The YoungCuts Film Festival (est 2001) presents Great Short Films by the World’s Best Young Filmmakers 25 and under. Annually, we watch over 1000 films from more than 30 countries to pick our Top 100.
Our regular deadline is March 31st. Our Late deadline is June 15th. We announce our Top 100 in mid-July and present them the last week of September to coincide with les Journees de la Culture or Culture Days when high school students get to take the day off school if they participate in an organized cultural activity like our screenings.

And we just announced an Animation Prize. The winner gets a free spot in a one-day Animation Master Class being given in Montreal on June 2nd by Disney animator Andreas Deja.
