Cultural association “QUATTROTERZIâ€ presents:
X SHORTini Film Festival 2016
The festival will take place in Augusta (SR) from 4 August 2016 to 7 August 2016.
SHORTini Film Festival is an International short film competition that provides 4
sections:
International competition
National competition
Animation competition
“New Frontiersâ€ competition
Prizes will be unquestionably awarded by a jury that will be appointed by the cultural
association “QUATTROTERZIâ€
the prizes are so divided:
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION:
Best Film € 1000
Best Direction
Best photography
Audience Award
Special Mentions
NATIONAL COMPETITION:
Best Film € 800
Best Direction
Best photography
Audience Award
Special Mentions
ANIMATION COMPETITION:
Best Film € 500
Audience Award
“NEW FRONTIERSâ€ COMPETITION:
Best Film PLACQUERULES
Each author can take part at the festival with maximum two films for
each competition.
Both for NATIONAL COMPETITION, INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION and
for ANIMATION COMPETITION:
are accepted every kind and format of short film.
Each author can take part at the festival with film made after the 1° january 2013.
The film can’t be no longer than 35 minutes with headlines and credits.
Italians short film can compete for National competition or International competition.
“NEW FRONTIERSâ€ COMPETITION:
are accepted every kind, format and nationality of short film about themes deal with
unreal point of view stylistically and about genre.
Each author can take part at the festival with film made after the 1° january 2013.
The film can’t be no longer than 15 minutes with headlines and credits.
The director must be present to receive the award
CLASSICAL REGISTRATION:
Deadline is 15° May 2016, ensures the postmark date. The announcement and the
inscription schedule are available on internet at:

The inscription and selection to X SHORTini Film Festival 2016 takes place with postal
service to address:

the package must contain, penalty of exclusion:
– Signed Data;
– N° 1 copy of the film on dvd and 1 copy of the film in digital version like (vob,
mp4 etc..) on dvd;
– Signed releasing;
– A CD containing scene photos, author’s photo, author’s biofilmography,
synopsis and english dialogue (only for “internationalâ€ and “neorealismâ€
competition if not in Italian).
Releasing and registration form must be completed in every single parts, penalty ofexclusion.
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
– Deadline is 15° May 2016.
– To enroll a shortfilm you can send us your movie, in Quicktime movie file 1080p
(maximum) (Pal 25p, NTSC 29,97 o 23,98p, 24p) o MP4, MPG, MPEG etc. by
Wetransfer, Dropsend, File Convoy (or other) to
email: shortinicompetition2016@gmail.com
The file had to contain, penalty of exclusion:
– Pdf file of the “data sheet (inscription)â€ and “releaseâ€ signed and scanned.
– Scene photos, author’s photo, author’s biofilmography, synopsis and english
dialogue (only for “internationalâ€, “animationâ€ and “new frontiersâ€
competition if not in Italian).
GENERAL NOTES
Cultural association QUATTROTERZI assumes no responsibility for any postal delays,
damages, theft or loss of postal packages.
The works received will not be returned and they will become part of the Festival’s
archive.
The association might decide, due to circumstances beyond our control, to postpone
the date of the festival or cancel the announcement and the event. The rewards
might receive changes.
