The Video Festival Imperia is the fastest-growing film event in Italy. It takes place every year in spring time in one of the most picturesque towns of Italian Riviera, Imperia. Its main objective is to give to amateurs, professionals and schools the possibility of showing their works to an attentive audience made up of movie lovers and experts.
For the seventh edition, we propose again a division into categories and sections, in order to give everybody the possibility of participating. The judgement of the jury will take into consideration the appropriate category in such a way that the works of amateurs will not be damaged in comparison with the works of professionals.
Registration is free. The Festival is now in its 7th edition and will take place in Imperia from April 24 to April 38, 2012. Deadline for foreign works is january 30, 2012. 687 authors from 41 nations participated to the 2011 edition. 90 films were screened.
INTERNATIONAL CATEGORY:
Reserved to foreign authors. The sections are: Short films, Documentary films, Animation & Graphics films with unlimited running time. Works must be subtitled in one of the following languages: Italian, French, English. To the first selected work of every section will be awarded a prize. The subject is free.
EXPLORER CATEGORY:
Open to national and international authors. The sections are: Travel Documentary (running time max. 30 min.) and Nature Documentary (unlimited running time). To the first selected work of every section will be awarded a prize.
