2005 saw the first groundbreaking North London Film Workshops launched by Collage Arts. These interactive seminars took hundreds of participants through the processes of creating groundbreaking films, and navigating the associated pitfalls such as raising finance, utilising new digital technology and developing strong production and scripting techniques.
Riding on the coat tails of last years successful events, Unheard Voices brings together some of the UK‘s most radical independent directors, producers and umbrella organisations to enable your undiscovered filmic voice to become louder, stronger and fully charged.
Whether you are a relative newcomer to filmmaking or a seasoned professional, these dynamic workshops and seminars have been constructed to navigate you from the concept of your film – right through to distribution. Unheard voices aims at being a true melting pot of ideas celebrating a diverse range of voices. Unheard Voices offers a rare opportunity to gain insight and inspiration directly from some of the most radical filmmakers in the UK today.
Held at the Karamel Club, North London’s newest venue for film, food, music and culture, these workshops are affordably priced at £5 (£3 conc) per workshop so that anyone can attend. Alternatively, block book all 8 workshops for £30 (£20 conc).
