The Tucson Film & Music Festival, October 9 – 11, 2009 is a weekend-long event featuring live music and films, emphasizing music in films and filmmakers with a connection to Arizona or the Southwest. TFMF has screened over 100 films since its inception in 2005. With an attendance of over three thousand filmgoers, TFMF has showcased several Arizona and World Premiere screenings from filmmakers including Allison Anders (Border Radio – The Criterion Collection), Ari Gold (Adventures of Power), Sacha Gervasi (Anvil: The Story Of Anvil), Bob Ray (Hell on Wheels), and Stephan Kijak (Scott Walker: 30 Century Man).
The music festival has featured 120+ bands including Calexico, MC Lars, Gram Rabbit, Bang Camaro, John Doe, The Supersuckers, Tom Walbank, Margot & The Nuclear So and So’s, Giant Sand and more!
