The Smalls Film Festival celebrates the world’s best short films and the filmmakers who create them. The seventh annual Smalls Film Festival will be held in central London, UK during September 17-21, 2012.
Five days of inspiring screenings, talks, panel discussions, and workshops will be capped off by The Smalls Awards – a life-changing celebration of extraordinary independent filmmaking.
This year The Smalls, together with its award sponsors Panavision and devilfish, will present £40,000 production grants and £4,000 cash awards to the winners in Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Music Video.
The best short film overall, selected from all entries, will be honored as the Grand Prize winner. The filmmaker of the Grand Prize film will become the recipient of The Smalls Film Fund Grant 2012, a significant production grant to help a talented filmmaker realize a new project.
The Smalls and its distinguished jury of film industry luminaries are looking for films that express original ideas, inspiring stories and scripts, and great execution.
