The Revelation Perth International Film Festival

Fast becoming the most crucial stop on Australia’s indie film festival circuit, Revelation was recently described by Electric Sheep magazine as the SXSW of the southern hemisphere.
The festival’s roots lie literally in underground cinema – the first event was held in a basement (Perth’s coolest music venue), and we continue to focus on underground and signature driven cinematic works.
Rev screens 100 films over 10 days every July, including narrative features, documentaries, short films, micro-docs, animation, experimental work, and live music-film hybrids.
RevCon is an excellent series of talks and panels that runs alongside the main festival – not to be missed by filmmakers, or film lovers!
