Description

The Method Fest is an 8-day event, March 31-April 7, 2006 that showcases breakout acting performances in independent film. The festival opens with the coming-of-age Sundance film “Dreamland” starring Agnes Bruckner, Kelli Garner, John Corbett, Justin Long and Gina Gershon. Following the film, guests will be treated to a not-to-be-missed Gala Party featuring a showcase of area restaurants, live music and DJ. Saturday is World Premiere Day at the Method Fest. Highlights include the World Premiere of “Debating Robert Lee,” directed by Dan Polier and starring Kaley Cuoco (8 Simple Rules), Billy Kay (L.I.E.), Danielle Harris, Dale Midkiff and Beau Bridges. Our featured screening is the World Premiere of “Push” starring Chad Lindberg, Michael Rapaport and Chazz Palminteri. That evening, the Auto Gallery hosts a VIP reception featuring another world premiere–the all new Maserati Birdcage. On Sunday, we salute two great actresses Julie Harris and Ruby Dee with the Lifetime Achievement Award at 7pm and at 9pm Indie Music Night takes the stage at the Sagebrush Cantina. The Method Fest is proud to offer the World Premiere of D.B. Sweeney’s “Dirt Nap” as the Closing Night film.
