Do you have a great idea for a short film but no budget?

OPENChannel is now calling for entrants for our next Short & Sharp Pitching Competition. This is a great opportunity for emerging filmmakers to practice their pitching skills and gain feedback on their short film projects. You could win a $3,500 equipment access prize and a mentorship to help you make your short film!

Eight short listed finalists will pitch their idea for a short film (max 10 mins), to a panel of professional producers at a public event on Wed Oct 26th.

HOW TO ENTER?
Entrants must submit an entry form and a one page treatment outlining their short film project. Treatments for a 10 minute pilot for a larger film or television project can also be submitted.
ENTRY DEADLINE is 5pm Mon Oct 3rd.

AUDIENCE WANTED!!!
Get involved as an audience member at OPENChannel’s Short & Sharp Pitching Competition on Wed October 26th, 2005.

You will gain valuable insight into the art of pitching. Watch the finalists deliver pitches in a variety of styles and be inspired by their passion and creativity. You can also take the opportunity to talk to the pitchers about projects you are interested in getting involved with.

Mingle with the filmmakers for drinks and nibbles after the event.
