SAN ANTONIO NEIGHBORHOOD FILM PROJECT
PRIZES: UP TO $3000
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2011
The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center in partnership with the City of San Antonio Office of Cultural Affairs is holding the San Antonio Neighborhood Film Project, a film competition for local student and non-student filmmakers to submit original pieces that capture the flavor and authenticity of each neighborhood profiled in the online discovery tours (www.saculturaltours.com): Westside, Eastside, Downtown, and Southside. Films can be from any genre, and range from anything from music videos to inspiring documentaries. A first prize will be awarded in each category for each of the four neighborhoods for a total of eight (8) prizes.
Prizes: $1000 for students / $3000 for non-students
Submission Deadline: FRIDAY, February 18, 2011, 3 p.m. CST.
Prizes will be awarded at the awards reception & screening event on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center.
