Description

Submit documentary or experimental films that contain key themes from your community. Works can range from strange to poetic and mundane to humorous, just as long as it alludes to a since of your neighborhood, your community, or what togetherness is for you.

The Benefits include your name and short-film posted for public votes on the website. All of the films will receive an equal amount visitor impressions with social sharing integration including facebook likes, comments & feedback. Top 5 viewer’s choice will move on to receive a ballot box with a display to promote your video at the Neighborhood Series event on Saturday January 19th from 5pm – 7:30 at 5748 Chestnut Street Philadelphia PA 19139 and free admission to the event. Attendees will vote on their favorite video of the night. Winner will be given all proceeds from the contest.

The show will consist of a series of drawings titled ‘Neighborhood’. There will be local press coverage and street attention, a managed canvas for graffiti artists along the exterior of the building, and tasteful entertainment will be followed by film screenings all based around the theme of community and togetherness.

Deadline for submitting your films are Saturday December 29th at midnight.

Guidelines:
Video must be hosted on youtube.com or vimeo.com
Video must be under 10 minutes in length
