Description

The Mid-Valley Video Festival was founded in 2004 as a showcase for independent filmmakers, focusing on Oregon-made and northwest-themed films as a unique art form and cultural experience. Each year, our program includes films that are made in Oregon or by Northwest filmmakers, as well as films that deal with the Northwest experience expressed through themes or subjects that are particularly relevant to Oregon and Northwesterners. The annual Mid-Valley Video Festival celebrates independent Oregon cinema, attracting filmmakers and filmgoers from around the country.

In addition to the festival, Mid-Valley Video Festival provides special programming for filmmakers and audiences throughout the year at local and regional venues, assists filmmakers in promoting their works outside of the festival and offers educational and professional development opportunities to young and veteran filmmakers to help them pursue their careers and dreams of filmmaking.

Mid-Valley Video Festival is a Salem-based 501(c)3, organized to promote, educate and network filmmakers. We thank you for your support of independent film.
