The Imagine Cup is an international short film competitition put on by Microsoft. The competition features some of the brightest and most talented students from around the globe. Competitors are challenged to express themselves through a compelling short film that they create from storyboards to the final product. Wild creativity is encouraged and students are allowed to collaborate with up to 3 teammates. All students who register to compete get a free copy of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (very expensive software). The grand prize for the competition is $8000 and Microsoft is flying the top 6 teams to Yokohama Japan for the finals!
