Anybody can turn on a video camera and swish it around with the hope that something good will get recorded. But to take video to the next level and produce something that you and your friends and family will want to watch over and over again takes planning and a few tips from the pros. In this course, award-winning video producer Jim Stroschein will demonstrate tips on shooting, lighting, audio, camera moves, writing, editing and ways to get your ideas in front of an audience. You’ll learn things that you can put to immediate use whether you want to make a fun music video or a major motion picture.
Participants will learn tips, tricks and techniques in the classroom and then actually go out and shoot some footage that will tell a story.
