Description

The Las Vegas International Film Festival is one of Las Vegas’ premiere film events, taking place annually in the heart of the entertainment capital of the world. Dedicated to showcasing and promoting the finest quality films and screenplays that the entertainment world has to offer, our mission is to bridge the gap between independent film audiences and filmmakers, as well as to connect emerging filmmakers with established industry professionals. The festival offers a variety of film screenings, special Las Vegas premieres, celebrity tributes, interactive panel discussions, special guests, a screenplay competition, parties and events, as well as a closing awards ceremony.

AWARDS AND CASH PRIZES

Last year’s festival saw over $4,000 in cash prizes given away to the winning filmmakers and screenwriters. Juried and audience awards are given in several categories to celebrate achievements in filmmaking, screenwriting and acting including cash prizes for the Grand Jury Award, presented to the best feature film in competition, the Jury Prize awarded to the best short film in the festival, and the top three finalists in the screenplay competition.

PANELS, DISCUSSIONS, AND SEMINARS

Festival panels and roundtable discussions with producers, directors and screenwriters explore the craft and creative process of cinema, as well as the business of making, financing, and distributing a film.
