In accordance with the past of Kuala Lumpur World Film Festival 2003 – KLWFF ’03 event, Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival 2007 – KLIFF ’07 (a brand new name for the event) will give a new impact to local and international film industry. Whilst, maintaining the objective of friendship and world peace through themes that in courage tolerance within the world society and further celebrating the multi racial and cultural diversity thru film industry.
Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival Sdn. Bhd. and National Film Development Corporation Malaysia will be organizing Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival 2007 from 29th November – 2nd December 2007 to coincide with Visit Malaysia Year 2007 and 50th Years of Independence of Malaysia.
The theme for KLIFF’07 is “Unite with Culture†and for the first year, the “sub theme†will be based on “Visual Effect Phenomenonâ€. Where all “Visual Effect Phenomenon†films will be highlighted. It screenings will be a catalyst for the purpose of instilling corporation and solidarity amongst participating countries.
