Starting this year, the festival «Para Thin Alos» ( “by the sea†in ancient Greek), organized by the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of Kalamaria, in Thessaloniki, Greece, during the first 15 days of September on the site of the former military base KODRA, presents a film festival with participants from Greece and the countries of the Balkans and the Black Sea.
In the program, young professionals of the cinema will participate, seeking their place and identity within the European Cinema and the unique character of the Balkans, on both video and film.
The three days of the festival will consist of short films and documentaries, as well as workshops, forums, meetings of cinephiles, happenings, and parties.
