A film festival in the heart of California’s Gold Country. This 2 day festival takes place in two historic towns and in 3 venues.
Opening night features a mixer, buffet dinner, industry guest speakers and screening the 2011 winning films of the Emerging Cinematographer Awards.
On Saturday, filmmakers and film-goers enjoy short films, animations and music videos in 2 venues and workshops in a third venue. Saturday night is awards night where the best of the best genres are shown one last time and awards are presented to filmmakers who are present. ITSA My Choice Awards where the audiences vote for their favorite films are announced on our website within a week of the festival ending.
The area has boasted over 300 films and television series, so there’s a lot for filmmakers and goers to see and do.
The festival is approximately 25 miles from Yosemite National Park.
