DOCVILLE focuses on author’s cinema – a personal approach – and cinematography. Films that surprise us, move us, that stick with us and that deserve to be shown on the silver screen. The festival travelled around the world looking for the best new films and looked at over a thousand submissions to distill a programme that contains the best documentaries of the moment. And as usual the programme contains a lot of unreleased films, avant-premieres and unique screenings.
