Full Circle Entertainment, Inc. and Authentik Artists (collectively, “MediaGroup505â€) are pleased to announce that they are currently accepting video submissions from independent filmmakers for the upcoming video montage entitled, “Heaven and Hell.â€
1. Heaven and Hell. When selected submissions are coupled together, Heaven and Hell will comprise a full length (i.e., between 80 and 120 minutes) video montage, consisting of five depictions of Heaven and five depictions of Hell, all from the standpoint of the selected filmmaker.
2. Basic Requirements. Each submission must be no less than 8 nor more than 12 minutes in length and must convey, in any manner, the filmmaker’s depiction of Heaven or Hell, whether it be traditional, abstract, comical, animated, etc.
3. Submission and Award Dates. To be eligible for selection, video submissions must be received by no later than August 31, 2009. The selected films (if any) will be announced by October 1, 2009. Selections will be made exclusively by a panel of recognized media experts chosen by MeidaGroup505.
4. Prizes and Credits Each film chosen (if any) will receive a cash award of $2,500 on October 1, 2009, the announcement date, and the filmmaker will receive full credit in the completed montage. In exchange for the foregoing, all rights to any film that receives the award will be transferred to MediaGroup505. All rights to films not selected will be retained by the submitting filmmaker.
5. Film Festival Submission. The competed film, Heaven and Hell, consisting of the ten chosen films coupled together, will be submitted to at least 5 internationally recognized film festivals within 24 months after prizes (above) are awarded.
6. Submission Format. Each video should be submitted with a data DVD. All films should be shot in 24fps. A .MOV and .MP4 will be the only acceptable video codecs. Each video should be compressed using the H.264 compression for best quality. Videos must be outputted at 1280×720. Letterbox and 4:3 will not be accepted. All videos must retain the intellectual property rights of third parties or we won’t accept it. Videos over or under the 8 or 12 minute mark will not be eligible for consideration. MeidaGroup505 reserves the right, in our sole discretion, not to accept any video for any lawful reason.
