The Hardacre Film & Cinema Festival began in 1996 as a project straight from the hearts of film lovers local to the Tipton area in Cedar County, located in Eastern Iowa. Selected Films will be screened in the classic art deco Hardacre Theater. This beautiful, locally-operated theater has been in operation since 1917 and continues to exhibit first-run films daily.
You can relax in air conditioned comfort and enjoy our friendly small town setting. No hassles or concerns from which most large urban festivals suffer.
The Hardacre Film Festival staff will strive to provide a casual & personal atmosphere throughout your visit. We will allow time for question and answer sessions following all of the film programs as well as easy access to all of the attending film makers for our audience.
Plaques will be awarded to the winning films in each category. The Hardacre Film Festival will be covered by local and statewide press. Industry professionals will be in attendance.
