Greenfest is Brisbane’s free green festival promoting emerging talent and creative energy as a source of fresh leadership. The festival includes a film festival, music festival, food festival over 8 acres of South Bank Brisbane. Amongst this cultural canvas are industrial leaders presenting greener products and concepts.
It is a free to the public and education based event for all cultural and exhibition elements. Entry into the film festival is free also.
The film festival invites amateurs, students and professionals to submit a 2-5 minute film on the theme “Change a habit for the planet”. The format and interpretation is open however submissions are invited in lower res digital submission. Original formats will be requested for screening if successful.
There are ten categories of merit related to experience, Australian based and overseas based entries.
Selections of progress submissions will be published on the website before the festival. Three finalists from each category will be screened at the festival, published on the website and in a DVD release “Greenfest Film Festival 2008”
