Flicks International Film Festival and The University College for the Creative Arts would like to invite creatives working in the film, audio-visual and digital media sectors to attend a free 1 day event, supported by the European Social Fund and designed to support entrepreneurship and business development.
The festival runs from 11am-4pm. And entry is FREE of charge.
The event will consist of seminars covering:
Case study one: Jaswinder Singh, Film Maker, Film Festival Director and installation artist. Jaswinder will be speaking about his experience in the Film and Arts sectors with regards to funding, producing and hosting film festivals.
Case Study two: Presentation by ABi Associates, specialist creative industries business advisors and vocational media trainers. ABi has project managed a 5 year national project called Working Broadband and a project called Bollywood Brent. ABi will be speaking about sourcing funding, networking and presenting case studies of their clients who have successfully produced films.
There will also be 1-1 surgeries providing advice and guidance to attendees and networking opportunities with organisers and other creative practitioners.
These events have been organised through a partnership initiative between Flicks International Film Festival and UCCA through the Entrepreneurship Training for Creative programme. The event is open to anyone from the UK. You must be 18 years or older and not in full time education.
