For this month’s screening Final Cut returns to the Hanbury Arms Ballroom following its recent transformation into the stylish new ‘Hanbury Club’. The interior has been completely redesigned with a stylish, retro-decadent look making it Brighton’s most visually striking venue – and a fantastic place to see films.
To celebrate the occasion, we’ve put together a strong programme of new shorts and admission will be free, making this a great opportunity to sample the delights of the Hanbury Club while enjoying a great evening of film.
Date: Sunday, October 29th
Venue: Hanbury Club, 83 St Georges Road, Kemptown, Brighton
Doors open: 7.30pm
Admission: Free
The programme includes:
ALI THE GREATEST! – A young-gun and an elder statesman of the ring look back over the latter’s boxing career in this dramatic homage to one of the twentieth century’s greatest heroes.
A HOST OF DAFFODILS – Powerful, award-winning US film about two estranged siblings learning about the durability of family ties.
DOLLS HAUS – Clever animation about the adventures of a doll in a creepy house-on-the-hill starring a group of characters constructed from junk and artefacts the director found at car-boot sales.
