FILMMAKERS ALLIANCE ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY

If you’re like most filmmakers who have even a shred of creative energy in their marrow, you are horribly depressed most of the time – and even more profoundly during the holidays.
Maybe you come from a really f%$#ed up family and you’re full of pain and rage. Or maybe you are an exceptionally sensitive soul who weeps at the thought of the diminishing frog population. Or maybe you’re just an entitled punk who’s incapable of appreciating a single damn thing no matter how much falls into your whiny little lap.
Whatever your inconsequential personal history happens to be, there’s a remedy for your holiday blues…and you know what it is:
THE FA HOLIDAY PARTY!!!
Every year there are more than 1 million holiday parties in the United States, but only ONE is at the FA Offices. And it just happens to be the BEST!
There’s drinking, dancing, film screenings, gift-exchanging, games, drinking, great food, amazing conversation, karaoke singing, drinking, mistletoe madness, spiritual blessings, knife-throwing, group therapy and….drinking.
And if that doesn’t sound like fun, you can always drink.
But keep in mind, ya gotta bring something. The first two are optional. The third is not:
1. A movie on DVD to screen
2. A gift for the gift exchange (inexpensive, of course)
3. FOOD
We’ll provide all of the beverages, plates, eating/serving utensils, napkins and condiments. But you gotta bring da FOOD. Please follow the handy guide so that we don’t end up with 500 cherry pies.
If your last name begins with the following letters, please bring the corresponding dish:
A to F – Appetizers
G to L – Desserts
M to S – Entrees
T to Z – Salads
Also, be sure to bring some cash $$$ in order to enter our Holiday Raffle Fundraiser and win some FABULOUS prizes!!!
Feel free to invite others, just make sure they follow the above guidelines and don’t show up empty-handed. We’re a non-profit filmmaking collective, not a damn soup kitchen.
So, strap on your holiday booties and ride your sleigh in for one helluva holiday bash….!!
