Description

Don’t miss October’s Festival du Films Français de Femmes. Women in Film and Television Ireland are presenting Ireland’s first French women’s film festival on Saturday, 7th October in Filmbase ( Curved Street , Dublin 2). The programme promises an exciting mix of world debuts, European firsts and classics, including Chantal Richard’s Lili et le Baobab, the premier of Geraldine Creed’s The Exile Files, and Farida Ben Lyzaid’s Door to the Sky. Some of the directors will be attending the festival to introduce their productions. The films, directed by women from France, Morocco, Quebec, Senegal, Ireland, and beyond, are connected by French cultural themes. Support WFTV as they continue to promote cultural ties, pan-European co-productions, and celebrate women’s achievements in media. All Filmbase members are entitled to a 50% discount on tickets.
