Born out of the spirit of Aurora Picture Show’s Extremely Shorts Film Festival, the Extremely Young Film Festival shines a spotlight on short films up to three minutes long from filmmakers 17 years old and under. The festival celebrates their creative and technical strengths in film and displays their interpretations of the world in which they live. These youth are the voices of future media expression.Â
