FILMMAKERS ON THE SET WITH ENEL DIGITAL CONTEST’S CREATIVE ENERGY
The international contest for young directors, promoted by Enel, European leader in the electrical energy sector, is underway. The theme of the contest is “The power of energyâ€
Enel Digital Contest is the international contest for young filmmakers promoted by Enel, European leader in the electrical energy sector, in collaboration with the Future Film Festival, the most important European event dedicated to animation and special effects.
This initiative is open to aspiring directors and students from Universities, Institutes and cinematography Schools of every nationality for the creation of original short films that have “The power of energy” as a theme. These young artists must tackle this topic, bearing in mind the protection of the environment.
The short films will then be judged by a panel of expert movie and communication judges, and also by Internet users. On the website
www.enel.it/DigitalContest/english.asp you will be able to view and vote for all the films entered in the contest. There are several prizes to be won, notably best short film for the environment and best soundtrack, assigned in collaboration with the Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Santa Cecilia Academy), the internationally acclaimed institute for symphonic music.

The contest is sponsored by the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche or National Council for Research), the Trade and Investment Agency of the Government of New Zealand, the Spanish Embassy in Italy and by numerous universities and film schools.
