The venues for this year festival will be The Cameo Cinema and Summerhall in the heart of Scotland’s ancient capital city!
This year we are developing links with the Trinidad and Tobago film festival – recently voted one of the world’s coolest film festivals by
MovieMaker Magazine and are working to prepare a prgramme of some of our best shorts of this year’s edition for screening at the TTFF in 2015.
In addition, we’re planning to host a Carribbean Film Night of shorts curated by the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival as part of the 2015 festival in November!
As well as all that, we are taking short film to a selection of Scottish Islands, hosting networking sessions
during next year’s film festival to focus on our home-grown short film-makers and screen the best of this year’s crop alongside our regular
eclectic and diverse programme of outstanding contemporary British and World short cinema in November 2015,
and hosting special retrospective screenings of short film work by the Student Academy Award nominated film-maker and award-winning
artist Damon Mohl and the remarkable animated work of stop-motion film-maker Segolene Romier!
