DOCNZ 2007 is New Zealand’s dedicated international documentary film festival showcasing the largest collection of award winning and festival screening documentary films ever assembled at any one time in the Southern Hemisphere.
They are stunning films which have been critically acclaimed all around the world and we encourage you and your friends to go and see these films as they may not necessarily return as a general cinematic release.

-give a voice to people and communities that are rarely or not heard
-are cutting edge and innovative in their genre, style, narrative and delivery and welcome multi-media and experimental documentary films
-promote a cinematic experience while at the same time ensuring that the works of emerging, independent and low budget films continue to be celebrated
