Comedy Cluj International Film Festival

“Comedy Clujâ€, the largest comedy film festival dedicated theme, reached the sixth edition this year. The festival will take place in Cluj Napoca, the capital of Transylvania county of Romania, between the 10th and the 19th of october 2014.
Along the five editions already held, “Comedy Clujâ€ has brought for the public over 600 comedy films. Also, special events have brought to the public directors, actors, festival managers, producers, distributors, film critics etc., which provided added value for the screeners in the cinema. An atmosphere proper for developing new internatonal projects was created by related events, which contributed for promoting romanian artistic values abroad.
A special place throughout multiple sections and events taking place in the festival is taken by the special secton for films produced in international film academies. This section became already a tradition and offers, for romanian and foreign students, the possibility of projecting their films in front of a large public. Also, is a good meeting point with the professionals of this industry, giving the opportunity to interact and to make of these encounters a kickstart for their professional evolution.
The 6th edition of International Film Festival “Comedy Clujâ€ aims to bring in the cinemas of Cluj Napoca a large series of comedy films released all over the world, which will allow the public to aknowledge more of this film genre, extremely versatile, that often hides, behind the comic shell, complex issues of life.
