As part of New York’s legendary CMJ Music Marathon, one of the world’s largest and longest running new music festivals and the centerpiece of a year-round college and emerging music initiative, the 13th Annual CMJ Film Festival promises to be our most ambitious to date! Having gained a reputation over the past 12 years for providing CMJ audiences with advance screenings and premiers of high profile, cutting-edge films—such as the box office smashes Pulp Fiction, Boogie Nights, Fight Club, Walk The Line, and 2006’s Borat—this year’s festival will expand its programming to include some of the very best in festival selects and breakthrough independent cinema that the industry has to offer. We will also continue a rich tradition of bringing artists and celebrities into direct contact with CMJ’s enthusiastic crowds. Past festival schedules hosting face-to-face sessions with leading filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Michael Moore, Harmony Korine, Wim Wenders, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, our 2007 roster will include an equally impressive line-up.
