Join us for the 33rd edition of CineFestival en San Antonio, the original and longest-running Latino film festival in North America. Don’t miss new works by San Antonio filmmakers Eva Longoria, Miguel Alvarez, Pablo Veliz, and the Cevallos Brothers. Other highlights include a staged reading of Cristina Ibarra’s “Love and Monster Trucks” featuring Jesse Borrego, the Texas Legends Program with Robert Rodriguez, and the Javier Fuentes Leon’s Sundance breakout film, “Contracorriente (Undertow).”
BREAKING NEWS: Television, stage and film actor Esai Morales will attend the Saturday night festivities of the The Guadalupe’s CineFestival en San Antonio. The Guadalupe will proudly present the “Emma Tenayuca Award for Activism in Media,” a special Premio Mesquite Award, to Mr. Morales based on his work as one of the founders of the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts.
