Budding filmmakers are invited to submit a film with a tennis theme as part of the inaugural Tennis Film Festival – CHANGING ENDS – to be screened during Australian Open 2010. Films are to be no longer than 90 seconds, or a change of ends in tennis.
The best entries will be screened periodically on giant screens in Garden Square, Grand Slam oval and at Federation Square as well as on the dedicated tennis film festival website www.changingends.com.au and the tournament website, www.australianopen.com which had 8.6 million unique visitors in 2009. The winning entry will receive an AUD$5000 cash prize with a second cash prize of AUD$2500 for the runner-up.
