This course aims to give you a chance to experience the demands placed on actors, appreciate what a trained actor can contribute to the shaping of a role, and discover how to get the best from that training in keeping with the director’s vision.
The course provides a solid overview of the 20th century’s most influential acting practitioners. The exercises are based on student participation and are oriented towards acting for film. Through them you will acquire the understanding and vocabulary you need to get the performances you are looking for.
