The Acadiana Film Festival explores the intersection between entertainment and technology, while concentrating on motion pictures and music production.
For the third year, April 16 -19, 2009, the festival will take place primarily in downtown Lafayette, Louisiana with a variety of film screenings, panel discussions, workshops & demonstrations, music concerts, professional networking and parties.
The objectives of the festival are to align with the state’s efforts in building an indigenous entertainment industry workforce and infrastructure, provide a forum for artists and content creators to showcase their unfinished projects, as well as host events to bring together artists and entertainment industry professionals.
