As a short film festival for low & no budget productions, ClipAward explicitly addresses independent filmmakers who make films without big money. For the 2013 edition, more than 600 short films were submitted, 115 of which were screened in 9 sections to around 500 visitors. During the 3 festival days the festival hosted ca 100 filmmakers.
Berlin, Bankok, LA, Warsaw, Moscow, Buenos Aires and everything in between – we’re ready for your shorts! We bring everything on screen that is freaky, crafty, slick, hard-boiled, and witty! Everything is allowed – as long as it’s short and cheap!
