As the largest completely student-run festival in the world, partnered with Variety and the Creative Coalition, the Ivy Film Festival is open to submissions from university-level filmmakers and screenwriters all over the globe.
We help aspiring student filmmakers and screenwriters attain the recognition their work deserves, while they learn from each other and industry professionals. Past guests have included Tim Robbins, Adrien Brody and Wes Craven. IFF presents student films and screenplays to a wide audience, and a panel of celebrity judges (including directors, producers, writers, and agents) views the best selections from the festival.
Winning filmmakers and screenwriters receive prizes that aid them in their continuous pursuit of their art. There is a $2,000 grand prize for the 2008 festival.
