The 2006 Summer MinuteFlicks Contest
Contest Announced: June 1, 2006
Submission Window: June 1 – July 31, 2006
Judging Period: August 1 – 15, 2006
Films will be exhibited online for site visitor voting, which constitutes 50% of the vote. The other 50% will come from official ClickFlicks.net judges.
Winners Announced: August 20, 2006
The Grand Prize winner will (1) receive an individualized online membership at Writers Boot Camp (including a year of online coursework and on-going creative support – valued at $1,795.00), (2) have their film featured at the 2006 Gotham City International Film & Video Festival (Oct 29 – Nov 5 in NYC, www.gothamfestival.com), and (3) receive the festival’s prestigious Edward Award at the closing night ceremony.
Runner up Prizes. The second, third, fourth and fifth place films (the “Runners Upâ€) will be featured at the 2006 Gotham City International Film & Video Festival.
Filmmakers will have up to 60 days (6/1/06 – 7/31/06) to shoot and submit a 60-second short film based on the following logline: A dead body, a mysterious package, and a note that says the delivery must be made by 12pm today.
