Encounters Bristol International Film Festival is the umbrella festival for Animated Encounters and Brief Encounters. Now a leading UK gateway to the world’s most prestigious short film and animation awards, the festival seeks to promote the short form as a means to develop and progress the next generation of filmmakers and animators. One of the best-known showcases and meeting points for emerging talent, the festival also offers a variety of eclectic activities that draws audiences from all ages and backgrounds.
The 2011 festival will be held between 16 – 20 November, at venues in and around the Harbourside area of Bristol, UK.
