The Ford Motor Company and advertising firm JWT Team Detroit are asking you to write a script about the iconic Mustang automobile. They have provided several Mustang Stories for you to base your script on - or you can write about a Mustang Story of your own!

SCRIPTS ARE DUE TUESDAY, AUGUST 26. Twenty will be chosen and given $5000 up front to fund their production. Those writers then have 2 weeks to produce their scripts. These deadlines are tight to accommodate the September launch of a television show to which this campaign is tied.

Nine winners and one alternate will win an additional $5000 each and appear in a promo for their Mustang Story which may be broadcast in primetime on US television. One Grand Prize Winner will be awarded the opportunity to direct a film for promotional materials for the 2010 Mustang Reveal!

Scripts should be between one and five pages in length, accompanied by a one-to-two page description of the proposed production methods. Be prepared to provide a sample of your work as a director or of the work of the director who will be shooting your script, if it is selected.
