Hello all.
This is my first post here, so hello to everyone.

I'm looking for a writing partner for current and future spec script writing. I'm not particular about the amount of experience you have, as long as you have the creative energy and drive to see things through. I've been writing for about five years now, off and on, and have decided to take it more seriously. I've written a few scripts that, honestly, weren't any good. As I said, I'm looking to get into the serious game and try and make something happen.

I've you've been writing but are looking for a serious partner, or were thinking about getting into it but weren't sure how, please contact me. I generally write horror/thriller/dramatic stories, but would love to venture out as long as it's the best we can do each and every time.

Thanks.

I tried co-writing with other writers, but it never really worked: the problem was that it was hard to find someone who wanted to write the same story as you, and if you disagreed and split up the project was so 'contaminated' with the other person's ideas that it was pretty much impossible to safely continue without running into potential copyright problems.

If you do arrange anything I'd suggest having some agreement beforehand so that you can continue to use the work that you've put into the script.

I've done cowriting on a couple occasions and have always found it to be a good experience. I guess it's just a matter of getting on the same page, so to speak, with your partner.

Hello Carcaridon,

I just posted something much like this in a completely different area of this forum (Pre-Production...oops). Anyhoo, I too, am looking for a writing collaborator, but mostly just a script to work with that I can direct. I would enjoy working with you, but I'm warning you ahead of time; I have no resources, cash or otherwise, so this script may be fruitless. At any rate, my name is Danny Montooth, and you can contact me at mailto:NeOublieMenteith?msn.com
I am located in Long Beach, CA.
