As everyone knows, there has been a huge increase in Muslim-based content and interest in this area, as evidence by "Paradise Now" (great movie), "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World" (not so great movie).., and many others.
I am interested in reading scripts that have to do with this content - this does not have to do with POLITICS, it can be anything at all but somehow related (either by character to story, plot etc.., ) with Muslims. The script can fall into any of the major categories including Drama, Action, Comedy, Alternative..etc.
Also you DON'T have to be a Muslim to offer an idea or script to us!! We are Muslims, and I can offer all the insight needed from a "Muslim" point of view - I will be more than happy to discuss / co-create a story with you.
The idea is to turn out some great movies, with talented folks working with us. Please submit your ideas, thoughts to me - I'd love to hear from you, if you have any great ideas!
I'll be up-front about compensation ?read the part about being "independent ; ) ?, unfortunately we can't pay anything upfront - if the movie makes money - we all make money!

I'd love to help you, but I'm thinking of making a film on this theme myself next year. I'm Muslim myself, and as a filmmaker I feel I have a responsibility to engage in dialog and try to make a bridge of some sort before it's "too late".
