Spread Expression is looking for a documentary filmmaker to film and edit Dance Backpackers TV - episode 2! A really exciting project which started in Los Angeles last month and which will now take place in London from 23rd May until 15th June. This is an opportunity to work with an unstoppable groundbreaking Hip-Hop Dance Theatre company! You will need to own your own camera kit.

We are looking for dynamic and very pro-active personalities. Creativity and solution-orientated mindsets are key.

Dance Backpackers TV series document the journey of a dance backpackers clan who are always pushing boundaries and who are consistently stepping outside the box. UK based artist Cindy Claes has been traveling and training with underground dance communities in Los Angeles and Kingston mainly. Creating life changing cultural exchanges in deprived areas where gang culture is very present, she is now paving the way to something new by training up those dancers into Theatre. Emotional moments of laughter and tears, the documentary which will be screened at hip-hop festivals. Spread Expression is currently taking the experience in several countries and envisions to develop the idea commercially in the near future.

Please note this is an unpaid position. We provide an opportunity to expand your portfolio, engage in a long term vision, and work with an extended team (the project is related to a professional dance production which will be performed in a major venue in June).
