Hey all,
I'm pushing forward with my first real project.
I have a 28 page comedy that I hope to shoot in late Oct or early Nov. Response from actors has been great and auditions are scheduled for 9/24 in NYC. I have the shot-list completed and we are looking at 218 shots. Not sure how many unique setups but it shouldn't be too bad. Most scenes are one person talking on the phone or two people talking to each other. Final scene is a party with 8 actors.
I'm looking for crew members to help me out. I need grip, gaffer, DP, cinematography and PAs. Any level of experience is fine as long as you are willing to help and learn. No pay but you will be given credit and a DVD copy of the movie.
The shoot will be in Essex county, NJ. We'll be using my panasonic GS400, Rode VideoMic on a boom pole and either a budget lighting kit or home depot work lights. I also hope to have the $14 Steadycam and $57 skateboard dolly built in time for the shoot. One of the goals is to see what we can create on no budget with consumer equipment.
